"Stamps for Clunkers" Program

This is a personal post from Sandy to all of you!

Many of you are wondering what to do about the CFH stamp you have. And some of you only recently purchased a stamp—I tried hinting that there might be a logo design change coming, to hold you off, and some got that message, but others....well, please accept my most heartfelt apologies! I wasn't able to say for certain what was going to happen until everything fell into place, and I am offering our special Stamps for Clunkers Program as my mea culpa!

Here's how the program works:
  1. Next time you send in a box of cards, mail your old stamp to the shipper as well.
  2. On the packing slip, you'll see an empty box - in the upper right (shown below). Put a check or X in that box.
  3. Our shippers, when they report your cards, will let me know, and I'll get a stamp out to you as soon as they arrive! **10/1 - ETA! See the end of this post!

The stamp sheet I've ordered is only the generic logo at left - no customization. It's about an inch and a half wide, and will be made of red rubber; so if you have a selfinking stamp that accomodates one that size, you can use it in that, or add cushion or ezmount to it, and even put it on a wood block if you'd like!

I've ordered 300 stamps, and will get more if the demand is high. (And if it's low, guess what the prizes will be in all our challenges for a while....? :) They aren't in-hand yet, but I'll get them out to you as soon as possible!

ETA Oct 1st: The stamps are here! Those who already sent in their old stamp will have a new one in the mail tomorrow!

Thank you for addressing this issue! I love the new name but felt a little deflated about it at the same time because I just got my CFH stamp a few weeks ago! I will definitely be taking advantage of the Stamps for Clunkers program when I send in my next batch of cards (which will be SOON!). Thanks again -- Bridget N.

All the new changes are so exciting Sandy. I never got around to getting a stamp, so now I can finally hop on board with the new one. Love the new name. Will have to post about it around the net.

The "Stamps for Clunkers" program is much appreciated. I only got to use my stamp on 2 batches of cards - one of which is going out today. Thanks.

Thank you for offering the "Stamps for Clunkers" program. Like many others, I just recently ordered my CFH stamp. This is such a wonderful cause, and I am proud to be a part of your organization.

I have two of the CFH stamps - I was offering them as an incentive on my blog - so I will send both of mine with my shipment. Thanks Sandy for all your hard work.

I'd like to get hold of one of these stamps to make your work easier, can you tell me what I have to do to get one?

I'm looking for a list of a whole years deadline on themed cards, because I am posting from Australia I have to start way way ahead of a theme in order to get it to over there.
Would you post a list up on the site somewhere so we can refer back to it to find out deadlines for themed cards?
