Thank you so much to all of you at OWH. You are some of the kindest, most generous people in "stamping land". I love to donate cards to OWH at every chance I get. I just found out about the blog hop Thursday evening, and right away knew that I needed to participate. I'm so glad that I could play along. My *new* stamping goal is to make 500 Christmas cards for OWH by October. My God bless you all!

If I were to win the card stock, I would make cards for OWH!

Best blog hop, ever. Such a great cause. A couple of my friends participated, and I'm so glad I checked it out. The cards on everyone's blogs have inspired me to dig out some of my own images to create with Memorial Day in mind. I plan on sending in a bunch of cards to OWH.

Truly, I feel honored to help fellow servicemembers.

We are currently stationed at Ramstein Air Base in Germany, and while I have only been part of OWH thru Splitcoast's WishRAK group, I am a part of other card groups that benefit our soldiers. One specifically is for the Wounded Warrior program called Cards for a Cause - we make a bunch of cards monthly for the program, and the warriors recovering at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center can use them to write home to their loved ones. We've even gotten the Postmaster involved; he donates all the postage so they don't have to pay a dime to send notes home.

Thank you also for the free digi-stamps. I use these often, and the new patriotic ones are fantastic.

My own husband deploys sometime this week, and even though I know he won't write home (lol) it's nice to know he will probably have the opportunity to do so.. and with a nice card as well.

Thank you for all you do!!

I'm overwhelmed by ideas and information! I still have to go back and finish up, but you came up on my dashboard and wanted to say thanks! I think that OWH is the most marvelous organization! I've got an OWH box that sits next to my studio counter, as I finish cards in they go! When the box is full off it goes. Got a big box about 1/2 full so soon, Dixie! I also have a group of ladies that gather once a month, 5 months of the year, to create OWH cards. We would LOVE to get our hands on this cardstock!!!

This has been the best blog hop you've had...so far! It's not just the number of blogs, it's definately the love and support that every card maker shows so well in their posts. I absolutely love the tutorials! I will go back to many of them since I wanted to finish the hop in one day, but as you can see it didn't happen. lol The inspiration is so exciting! I made lots of cards for the hop, but kept changing my mind about what to post after seeing some of the other blogs. Needless to say, I added a card & added some more embellishments to mine! I've been teaching rubber stamping to several friends & now it's time to have a card party! Your videos & other info on this looks like it will be so much fun!

BTW, I was wondering what you were going to do with all of the cardstock after seeing how much you stuffed in your car! LOL ;o)

This Bloghop has been so great. I am honored to be a part of it. Although I still need to go back to some of blogs that I couldn't leave my comments because of my internet connection problems, I completed the entire bloghopping in three full days. I got inspired by great ideas, new techniques, and beautiful cards created by every blogger including their own stories that were so touching.

My goal is to make one card for each digi stamp that I downloaded by using those new techniques.

I am planning to have my monthly OWH Cardmaking Day in June.

Absolutely this hop motivated me to keep on going. Making cards for heroes and their families is my humble way of appreciation for their dedicated service. May God bless them and watch over their safety.

Sandy, thanks very much for organizing this great event. Thanks for all what you do.

I just finished the hop and am still reeling from all the fabulous inpiration, tips, tutorials, videos, stories and download files. The tears and the joy and the heartstopping moments are also still replaying. Super well organized and a true testament to the amazing work being done by OWH. Really inspired me to get out my stash and start creating and posting cards to you all. Have to get the badge up on the blog now too besides spreading the word more than I already have. And adding an OWH table to my Stampin Up Open Studio days too. Hopefully I'll be ready to participate in next years hop as a hopper too! After all with a cause this good I'm sure there will be another one right?? - lol!

Keeping my fingers crossed for a box of that fab paper to get a card party started right! Besides I just got a great new cutter so making cards and layers will be a snap! Hmm...gotta go inventory the stash and get some kits started for future OWH events.

Thanks again for a fab hop and for all the hours you all contribute to make this organization work.

Hi Sweetie...
I am Country Wings your newest follower. I cannot begin to tell you what inspiration I have drawn from this blog hop. I have never made a card, but I believe I have found my calling. I cannot wait to start making cards for OWH. I would so love to have a soldier reach into a box and draw out a card of love that I had put together. What an honor.

I have spent the last month on homebound. (8 days in the hospital) and have 2 more weeks before I can go outside. I have been having issues with my lungs and chronic asthma. I have been wanting something to do with this time when I am in my recliner. Guess what? I have found my calling. Yeah!!!! I too want to be a part of this wonderful journey.

I have seen so many wonderful free templates, so many beautiful ideas and met so many wonderful ladies on this blog hop. Each one has given me something. I thank you for this wonderful weekend.

Please stop by and say hi. I would be so honored if you signed up to follow my blog as well. I love meeting new friends and sharing new ideas. I will be visiting many of these blogs again as they have some fabulous tutorials for a beginner like myself.

Country hugs sweetie...Sherry
