Cruisin' tips and research!

If you've signed up - or have emailed to tell us you're coming but just haven't booked yet - you should have received an email from Sandy yesterday. If not, please email; we don't have email addresses for all the cruisers, and we have info we'd like to share with those going with us.

This week we have some important tips for our traveling folks:

Passports: Remember to check your passport or apply for one if you plan to join us on the OWH Cruise in February 2012!! According to the State Department website, it is currently taking approximately 4-6 weeks for the processing of "routine" passport applications. You must have a valid passport with you on the cruise.

Are you thinking about the cruise but are new to cruising and have lots of questions? Or would you just like to read more about Royal Caribbean's Navigator of the Seas (our ship), its amenities and services? There are various cruise review sites out there but we've narrowed down some good starting points for your research:

Royal Caribbean International is a very good place to start. Click on "All About Cruising" and explore the site thoroughly! In addition to the land excursions Royal Caribbean offers in each port, there are many things to do onboard ship in addition to our OWH activities! You will need the full 8 days just to explore the ship and all the fun things to do, or you can opt for cardmaking and total relaxation!

You may also want to check out Cruise Critic, a forum where people submit reviews of the ships they have traveled on. The site also provides tips for first-time cruisers, and additional ideas for excursions not offered by the cruise lines too.

You may have heard of Fodor's, which is a well-known publisher of travel guides. Their website offers cruise reviews and their own Royal Caribbean page.

These sites are not only fun to explore but hopefully will help you make your decision about joining us on OWH's first-ever cardmaking cruise!
