Thankful Thursday: January 5, 2012

Welcome to our very first Thankful Thursday post of 2012! These are some of the best posts I (Sandy) think we ever put up...they may not be filled with visual inspiration for you, but each Thursday gives us the chance to provide a wonderful shout out across America for all the wonderful cards and donations sent in! Thank you all!!

An update on your summary emails: last night I set up the emails to automatically send out through the next week. If you don't get a summary by next Thursday, let me know and I can get you a copy of the email. And if you see something incorrect, let me know and I'll do what I can to fix it. I've set the system to automatically post them, and I'm hoping that actually happens the way I told it to! :)

Thank you to this week's wonderful donors!!!!

Wow that is amazing.

Do you know if there is a similar program in Canada? I would prefer of course to send cards to my own soldiers :)

As far as we know, no, unfortunately. The US is the only one that has a decent mechanism to get individuals' addresses - you can't send something to "any soldier", so you need a person's name, and no one seems to have enough addresses in other countries. :( However, our heroes do share with international forces - so any Canadians nearby do get to use them :)
