Sandy you are a riot. I am one of the non facebook people. (Granddaughter says no Grama.) I just get so upset when I hear someone say that the wars are over. Do you not watch the news. I thought cardmakers were better informed. Thats my rant. Keep on doing the good job that you doCharlsie
Enjoyed the vlog this morning -- the little bit about being hooked on facebook was a hoot. Thanks for sharing about the survey. Thanks to for all the good work you do - I know you put in lots of hours keeping us all informed.
Yep, I refuse to get a FB account as I know it can be very time consuming. I don't like the "friend" thing either. Too much like high school to me. I've popped in to OWH FB from time to time, but I find it very confusing to follow a thread. And forget trying to find info from even a few days ago. So, I know I miss out on lots of stuff, but that's okay. I'd much rather be making cards or reading than spending time on FB. Wish I had known about the survey - guess that was on FB as well.
The survey was actually in email....
The survey was in an email? Guess I didn't get that one, rats. I'm subbed to your blog, the Homefront and Stars & Stripes. If it was in one of those it either went to spam by my ISP or I missed it. Oh well.
Have to say that I'm another non FB person. I'm afraid that I can't afford the time for it, plus don't like the whole "friends" thing. Not to mention privacy issues...so like somebody else said I know that I miss out on some fun times, but I'm Ok with that...rather spend the time making cards, reading or reading other folks blogs (don't have one of those either!) So I appreciate that you keep us up to date in other ways!R/
We have our monthly enews, it was in there - http://operationwritehome.org/email is where you can sign up for it.
